The Cliff View Cabin sits on what historians call Holy Hill. Back in the early 1900's all the cabins on the hill were owned by ministers mainly Presbyterian. Even today a lot of the cabins are still owned by the same families, which includes the Hage family, owners of the Cliff View Cabin. The cabin sits across from the YMCA of the Rockies. It is about two miles from the south entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, a half mile from the East Portal Trail Head which takes you into the National Park. And its around two miles to downtown Estes Park. If you enjoy the wildlife, the Cliff View Cabin has a big wrap around porch where you can sit, after a day of hiking, to view the elk and deer and the beautiful mountain views. This cabin is to be enjoyed year round.
