Brownstone Haus

Location: Estes Park, Front Range, Colorado, USA (60 Miles Northwest of DIA, 30 Miles Northwest of Boulder)

The Brownstone Haus sets right off Mary's Lake Road. It is one of the original homesteads of Estes Park. The Living room was built by a Swedish carpenter as his summer home. There was no running water, so he just lived in the one room with no amenities. We estimate this area of the house was built about 80-100 years ago, with the original rock fireplace, which we still use today. The rest of the cabin was added on to throughout the years, hence why rooms look different from each other.
Even though this cabin has a very casual feel, it has all the modern amenities of home.

It is about 1.5 miles form downtown Estes. About 1.5 miles in the other direction to the south entrance to RMNP. It is 2 miles to Mary's Lake, and walking distance to the Big Thompson River.
